How It Works
Blockchain Structure
Visual breakdown of how blocks are chained together to form the Bitcoin blockchain.
Blockchain Structure
Block #1
Hash:
0000abc...
Prev Hash:
0000000...
(Genesis)
Transactions:
TX1, TX2, TX3...
Block #2
Hash:
0000def...
Prev Hash:

(Links to #1)
Transactions:
TX4, TX5, TX6...
Block #3
Hash:
0000ghi...
Prev Hash:

(Links to #2)
Transactions:

🔗 The Chain
Each block contains the hash
of the previous block,
creating an unbreakable chain.
🔒 Immutability
Changing any block would
change its hash, breaking
the link to the next block.
⛏️ Mining
Miners compete to find a
valid hash starting with
zeros (proof of work).
